It's time for the NC Gleaning Network's 18th Annual

YAM JAM

October 11th

You can make a difference by helping glean sweet potatoes for hungry people right here in North Carolina!!!

In This Section:

Up
NC Gleaning
NC Coordinators
South Carolina

The goal is to exceed the 126,260 pounds of sweet potatoes gleaned in 2007.  You can help by bagging potatoes, providing trucks
to
transport bagged sweet potatoes out of the fields
and/or making deliveries to local agencies.

WHEN:  Saturday October 11th, from 8 AM to 1:30 PM. Gleaning time is flexible however, we encourage all gleaners to spend as much time at the field as possible either bagging or helping to load the trucks

WHERE:  We anticipate gleaning at a farm in Johnston County.  (The exact farm location & directions we hope to provide to those who register a week before the event.)
