- When: Saturday, March 9.
- Time: Blessing (8:50 am); Bagging starts (9:00 sharp to 10:00 am); Loading vehicles going to pantries (9:30+ am); Clean up (10:30 am)
- Where: parking lot at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church (500 W. Holding St., Wake Forest)
- What to bring: work gloves, comfortable shoes
- Minimum age: 5 years old
Bagging potatoes are back in Wake Forest! Join 500+ of your neighbors bagging 60,000 pounds of white potatoes. These will be distributed to dozens of food pantries across a dozen counties. This is the perfect event for family fun while teaching your kids the value of service. It is a great way for groups and individuals to have fun together while helping out others.
There will be a second event that morning: the Jump Start for 2019 of the Community Connections Garden sponsored by Wake Forest Baptist Church, 10 am to 12 noon.
