September is National Hunger Action Month
Right now in the United States, over 47 million people are hungry or food insecure. And yet, this year alone, we will waste more than 40% of the food we grow—food that could feed our neighbors.
As people of faith, we are called to do more than simply recognize this injustice. We are called to act.
This September, join the Society of St. Andrew and congregations across the country in a month-long journey of reflection, action, and generosity. Hunger Action Month is your church’s opportunity to say, “This is not acceptable”—and to change it.
