Joshua Hearne
Executive Director
Joshua Hearne will become Executive Director of the Society of St. Andrew on September 21, 2026. He currently serves as Program Director and Senior Program Officer at Danville Regional Foundation, where he oversees a $14 million-plus grantmaking portfolio and advises the CEO and Board on community development, nonprofit capacity, strategy, and engagement. Previously, Joshua founded and led Grace and Main Fellowship, a faith-based, housing-centered nonprofit and intentional community in Danville, for 13 years. He holds a Doctor of Ministry from Mercer University, a Master of Divinity and Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Duke University, and a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown College.

SoSa Headquarters main office is located in the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Big Island Virginia in the same location where the mission began in the 1970’s.

The Board of Directors of the Society of St. Andrew oversees the work of the ministry, sets policies, and approves operating budgets. Independent members serve 3-year terms. Ex-officio members serve because the position they hold makes them a member of the board.
