Hunger Relief Agencies & Organizations
SoSA volunteers glean excess produce from farms and farmers’ markets. They then deliver the produce collected from farms and packing houses to food pantries, food banks, low-income and elderly housing complexes, social service agencies, group homes, homeless shelters, rehab facilities, and more. Produce is available at no cost to the recipient agency as long as the food is shared with people in need.
SoSA distributes produce as equitably as possible while considering costs, location, recipient agency capacity, and food insecurity rates of the area.
The Society of St. Andrew (SoSA) does not discriminate what people or organizations receive gleaned food based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity (including gender expression), sexual orientation, disability, age, marital status, family/parental status, income derived from a public assistance program, or religious affiliation.
