Raise Funds

One of Society of St. Andrew’s core values is stewardship. We seek to make the most and best use of all resources in a way that demonstrates competence, justice, and sharing. Here are multiple ways you can raise funds for SoSA and offer nourishment to neighbors in need.

Adopt A Bushel

Adopt a Bushel is a 30-day, $1,000 fundraising challenge! Your class, group, organization, or business can adopt a bushel of fruits and vegetables to support the mission to end hunger with the Society of St. Andrew.

The bushel you adopt is a card deck of fruits and veggies, each marked with a specific dollar amount. This dollar value represents a huge quantity of fruit or vegetables that SoSA can share with people in need when you give. Through the Adopt a Bushel challenge, your group will share more than 40,000 servings of fresh, health-giving fruits and vegetables with people in great need.

While each person does a small part by “adopting” just one fruit or vegetable for the amount of money marked on that item, the bushel you’ve adopted for $1,000 will share about $14,375 worth of food!
