Simple Supper
Raise awareness about hunger in your community! In this simple meal, you’ll eat as 60% of the world’s population does daily. Serve a simple meal of rice and beans to your family, friends, congregation, school, or community group. Then, make a donation to SoSA to provide healthy, nourishing food to people in the US who are at greatest risk for hunger.

Learn more about food waste in the United States! Host a movie screening for your community and invite SoSA to speak. Just Eat It is a 74-minute documentary about food waste and food rescue that features the work of the Society of St. Andrew. Just Eat It brings together farmers, retailers, and consumers in a cinematic story that is equal parts education and delicious entertainment.
