Gleaning is going into the fields, after a farmer has harvested his/her contract crops, and collecting the excess fruits or vegetables, for use in feeding the hungry.

Optional Information

Society of St. Andrew uses financial donations to move the farmer’s donated fruits or vegetables, to food banks and feeding agencies, to feed hungry people.. It costs 9¢ to move each pound of food.
