Your firsthand experiences empower you to lead the next generation of donors, volunteers, and participants in SoSA’s network.
You can speak directly to how efficiently donors’ gifts are used to remove obstacles and cover expenses associated with sharing good food.
New volunteers might have loads of questions that you can easily answer and encourage them into deeper involvement in the mission.
Leaders are needed at every event. They help ensure nothing slips through the cracks. Whether it’s paperwork like reports and waivers, or something more exciting like teaching a group of young people about gleaning— there’s a place where YOU can lead in SoSA’s Gleaning Network.
In fact, SoSA has a variety of programs to help you become a volunteer leader, fundraiser, peer-to-peer fundraiser, or even a hunger-relief advocate in your region. Each image below provides a brief description of that SoSA program and if you click it, will take you to a summary page where you can learn more, download resources, or take your next step.
