Harvest of Hope™
This faith-based, experiential, service & learning opportunity provides you and your group the opportunity to take action, get involved in hands-on activities, and rescue and share good food with people in need.
Participants glean and distribute produce remaining in fields after harvest each morning and learn about the realities of hunger each evening.
Bible study and dynamic worship round out days of Christian community and service, providing a basis for ongoing commitment to ending hunger.
Harvest of Hope offers events for middle/high school students, intergenerational groups, and college-age students.
[Please fill out the Interest Form to be put in touch with our HOH director, Tresca McSwain.]
Summer – Youth Programs
We offer age-appropriate mission and education opportunities so that individuals can learn about the twin issues of food insecurity and food waste and immediately do something. |
Fall – Intergenerational Retreats
Take time to unwind and recharge. Relax, knowing the event has been planned and you are simply there to worship, serve, and enjoy. Find peace serving in a local hunger-relief mission while growing in knowledge and fellowshipping across generational divisions. (All children under 10 years old must have a parent/guardian attend with them.) We would love for you to join us next Fall! |
Spring Break – College Age
These events allow for deep discussion, peer relationships and networking between groups. Participants will also learn about hunger, food waste and taking action. Whether it’s community service hours, honors college requirements or simply looking to spend Spring Break making a difference- young adults have a place at Harvest of Hope! |
