Lead

Join the mission to end hunger by leading through SoSATake The Next Step

As you donate, volunteer, and learn in the mission to end hunger, SoSA invites you to take a bold step forward and lead.

Your firsthand experiences empower you to lead the next generation of donors, volunteers, and participants in SoSA’s network.

You can speak directly to how efficiently donors’ gifts are used to remove obstacles and cover expenses associated with sharing good food.

New volunteers might have loads of questions that you can easily answer and encourage them into deeper involvement in the mission.

Leaders are needed at every event. They help ensure nothing slips through the cracks. Whether it’s paperwork like reports and waivers, or something more exciting like teaching a group of young people about gleaning— there’s a place where YOU can lead in SoSA’s Gleaning Network.

Invite your congregation into action through daily prayer in September; and other simple activities to make an impact on the mission to end hunger. This fundraising program has everything you need to raise $1,000 in the mission to harvest and share healthy food. Plan a meal with your group. Invite them to learn about food insecurity— and then invite them to participate in the solution through SoSA.
Literally, make your next meal count by using it to illustrate how easily food waste occurs. Have a few doctors’ appointments? Help your doctors learn to identify food insecurity and raise awareness of this often overlooked struggle. This exciting fundraiser allows you to turn the big game into a big deal for your group, each February.
